Our Mission
SharpBetz was built on a simple idea: sports betting predictions should be transparent, data-driven, and accountable. We don't rely on gut feelings, insider tips, or paid promotions. Every prediction on this site is generated by our proprietary statistical model that analyzes real game data to find value in the betting market.
How We're Different
Most prediction sites either hide their methodology or use subjective "expert" opinions that can't be verified. We take the opposite approach:

Our Model
At the core of SharpBetz is an XGBoost gradient-boosted decision tree model trained on thousands of historical games. The model evaluates 27+ features across multiple categories including scoring efficiency, defensive metrics, situational factors (rest days, home/away streaks), strength of schedule, and market signals.

The Team
SharpBetz is operated by a small team of sports analytics enthusiasts and software engineers. We combine expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and sports data analysis to build and maintain the prediction engine.
